Slice & Dice
The players battle in five rounds by building their armies and power in order to fight for treasure. It´s a simple game but with many subtleties, mixing strategy, psychology and luck. A match has a playtime of about 30 to 45 minutes.
The illustrations are directly referencing Japanese woodblock prints representing kabuki plays. Each card is identified with a Japanese heraldic symbol. The Japanese aesthetic is tied to the game's "sacrifice" mechanic. The illustrations are made in china ink and oil paint monoprinting.
Slice & Dice is unpublished, Erik and I are still looking for a publisher.
